About the research

The purpose of the activity is to establish an updated knowledge bank for the project’s partners. The educational institutions in the consortium represent a diversity of educational levels, including traditional universities, universities of applied science and business academies.

Each institution offers a broad spectrum of education within health, social and natural science fields. These educational institutions contribute with significant research knowledge and experience regarding the adaptation of educational approaches and offerings.

The municipalities provide valuable knowledge about the demographic challenge, which arises both from local conditions in the municipalities involved and the national and international dimension of this issue. The municipalities will specify how demographic changes affect local policies and practices, e.g. within the hospital, care and elderly care sectors.

Activities: Planning research and knowledge collection activities. Included as part of workshops, educational activities and conference. Outputs: 1 research article and conference article describing the results of data collection and documenting the results achieved. The activity’s support for the project’s purpose: The activity is carried out continuously throughout the project period and thus continuously collects the project’s data and knowledge, which is subsequently translated into new knowledge.
