Workshop 2025,
Gothenburg, Sweden
Nordic societies are facing a growing demographic challenge. A larger proportion of elderly people in the population increases the demand for welfare and healthcare services while fewer people are available in the workforce.
How can municipalities, educational institutions, and professional environments respond to this development? What kinds of collaboration, knowledge, and work processes are needed when existing systems and professional boundaries are no longer sufficient?
Participants
The workshop in Gothenburg brought together 68 (??) full-time students from academy profession, bachelor’s, and master’s programmes across participating educational institutions.
ECTS credits were determined by the local institutions and participation was supported through Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme funding and other relevant grants.
Collaboration
The workshop was part of the Nordplus project “Students as change agents in grand societal challenges” involving ten higher education institutions and six municipalities across the Nordic countries.
